Price is $7.50 per pound hanging weight. Processing and harvest are included. Tax free. Final balance is due at pickup and depends on hang weight, not the deposit.
What hanging weight means: The pounds on the scale at the plant are hang weight, not what goes in your freezer. A whole is often hundreds of pounds on the hook and roughly half of that boxed, depending on cutout. We will confirm hang weight and your boxed take-home when the animal is processed. Do not budget as if hang pounds are take-home pounds.
